The Discharge Control Program (PCV) of Augas de Galicia aims to inspect and control wastewater discharges into the public domain within the Galicia‑Costa River Basin.
AIN ACTIVE carried out the contract for the implementation of this program in the northern area of this district, being responsible for the inspection, inventory and prioritization of discharge points in rivers, estuaries and coastal areas, including industries, urban WWTPs and other facilities.
The contract includes sampling and in-situ measurement of parameters, handling and management of discharge alerts, preparation and updating of reports, cooperation with other authorities during pollution events, and advising asset owners on defining and implementing corrective measures at polluting discharge points.
