Our Company

Local Insight, Global Reach

In 2003, AIN active was founded with the goal of providing engineering services and technical assistance in the development of electrical projects, particularly those related to hydroelectric and wind energy.

In the following years, we began offering operation and maintenance services for wind farms and hydroelectric plants, thanks to the trust placed in us by the developers to whom we provided engineering and technical assistance during the project and construction phases.

Starting in 2008, we strengthened our team and began offering civil engineering services, especially for renewable energy projects, hydropower, and linear infrastructure works, among others. During this period, the company also began its international expansion into Eastern Europe. In 2010, we expanded further into Latin America.

Throughout this time, as the company has grown and solidified its international presence, one principle has remained constant and is the foundation of all our work: quality and professionalism.

Our Mission

Responsible Engineering

AIN active designs structures and linear works, both surface and underground, develops facilities for the transportation, transformation, and distribution of electrical energy, and provides the necessary technical support for the development of renewable energy projects, from initial studies to the control and supervision of project execution. We define and test hydraulic and hydrological systems using CFD simulations and reduced-scale models, and carry out environmental monitoring of discharges into our rivers and coastlines.

Through our subsidiary, AIN active OM, we operate and/or maintain hydroelectric plants and wind farms. With experience across dozens of installations, we have developed proprietary tools to support plant management.
